Morgan starred in an informational video Safe Sex for Men and Women on AIDS education and prevention. The proceeds from the film went to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She also serves on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is part of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Team. Morgan has also led many other fundraising projects to fight AIDS and has testified in front of a specially-created Congressional committee regarding AIDS Education. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA and Amfar's Board of Directors. C. Everett Koop's previous deputy surgeon general requested her from time to time to substitute for him at AIDS awareness programs. Additionally, she hosted an AIDS Awareness Special hosted by Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to appear twice on Nightline with regard to AIDS. Morgan has been nominated by the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially for Morgan. In spring, she co-starred with Joan Rivers in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife. The summer began by Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The show, Von Zerneck/Sertner also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. Her next project took Morgan to Luxembourg and she was a part of the cast in the roles of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan was also the protagonist in a psychological thriller which was solely produced through the USA Network. It received the top rating ever recorded by the network.
